Off-Roading With Kosher Troops

On The Cross-Country TransAmerican Trail, “The Road Less Traveled”

KosherTroops is an organization dedicated to supporting the American Jewish Troops with care packages throughout the year and on major Jewish Holidays.

The KosherTroop Team will be driving an SUV on the 4,200 mile dirt road trail across America, to raise awareness of Jewish Troops serving in the United States Military.

The campaign will kick-off on July 19, 2012 at the Paper Clips Monument at Whitwell Middle School in Tennessee, just 4 miles off the TransAm trail. The monument is an actual Rail Car used by the Nazis in World War II to transport victims to concentration camps. The rail car now holds 11,000,000 paperclips in memory of each victim of the Holocaust.

The trip will begin in Tennessee and end in Oregon. The KosherTroops team will be passing through Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, & Nevada. “The Road Less Traveled” can be followed on Koshertroops.com. If you’re on the route for the trip and want to offer some support, contact Ava or Sara over at the Koshertroops website.
