Pesach in Grafenwohr, Germany

Seder1Chaplain Shulman recently forwarded me this article from Stars & Stripes about their seder in Grafenwohr, Germany that drew guests from all over the region.

GRAFENWÖHR, Germany — Break out the Haggadah and crack the matza — Passover has arrived at this small Army garrison, where U.S. Army Europe’s only Jewish chaplain is holding services for the second straight year.

The Monday seder drew families from across USAREUR posts, including Baumholder, Kaiserslautern and Schweinfurt.

Read the full article and check out the great photos over at Stars & Stripes.

Captain Shulman has been an extraordinarily active chaplain, who clearly goes out of his way to make events like this possible for not just the Jewish troops in his region, but for all the Jews in the area. You can see other events (from Iraq to Korea) we’ve covered on the website here. Yeshar koach!
